Sólveig Lilja had a little visit before she got up this morning.
I use the toboggan to take Sólveig Lilja to school. It's a bit too small for her so her feet stand out a bit but she loves it. And it's a easy way to take her then. Then I walk to work. All of this takes about 30-35 minutes I think, depending how long I take to undress her. On Friday, as we were going there, she said to me: "mamma, I can't see the moon". She'd been looking for it and couldn't find it :) She is lovely and a good girl. Her attitude could be better but she is still a good girl. Knowing her alphabet in English at that age is not bad, even if she seems to have something against the letter n most of the time. And knowing how to count up to 20 in three different languages (English, Icelandic and French) is not bad either. Also it's a joy to watch er dance, it's so full of imagination if you can say that.
Kristín Lára is also amazing. Or at least we think so. The way she holds a pen and draws small circles and lines. She is putting together words now, less than 17 months old. Or is that just normal? Sólveig Lilja didn't at this age. Funny which words she puts together though. On Friday she said to me, probably when I was cleaning her nose; "hættu mamma". "Hættu" means stop. And she's said it again after that. She said a new word yesterday, she was playing with a phone and as she held it up against her ear she said "hallo". And she feeds herself, we are not allowed to help her with that anymore! I think this picture of her shows her character quite well, as the one of Sólveig Lilja does.
